Broncos’ Harris, Steelers’ Clark officially out

As expected, the Denver Broncos will be without starting RT Ryan Harris against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday night. Harris suffered a toe injury in the Broncos’ loss at Baltimore and was among the team’s list of inactive players.
Second-year pro Tyler Polumbus is expected to make his first NFL start in place of Harris.
The other Broncos inactives: RB Peyton Hillis, S David Bruton, OG Seth Olsen, TE Richard Quinn, WR Brandon Lloyd and DE Ryan McBean. The team lised Tom Brandstater as the No. 3 QB.
As we reported earlier in the day, the Steelers chose to play it cautious with S Ryan Clark, deactivating him for the game because of his sickle-cell condition. That’s official now.
No surprises among the Steelers remaining inactives, as they will be without two other starters on defense. LB Lawrence Timmons and DE Travis Kirschke were deactivated after being listed as doubtful.
The remaining inactives: OG Kraig Urbik, OT Tony Hills, DE Sunny Harris and WR Shaun McDonald. Dennis Dixon was listed as the No. 3 QB.
