Panthers LB Davis helped off field with injury

Carolina Panthers LB Thomas Davis left the game against the New Orleans Saints midway through the fourth quarter with what appears to be a serious leg injury. He was replaced by Landon Johnson.

Davis was injured while dropping back in pass coverage, and wasn’t touched on the play. He immediately began clutching his right knee, and had to be helped off the field with the help of two team personnel. Trainers appeared to be checking Davis’ right knee on the sidelines.
