Boldin miffed over deactivation against Bears

Arizona Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin didn’t mince words on Sunday when explaining his unhappiness over being deactivated against the Chicago Bears.

Boldin was out on the field before the game testing his injured ankle, but was later included on the list of Cardinals’ inactive players 90 minutes before kickoff.

“Only thing I can say is when I came in here my stuff was in the locker,” Boldin explained. “(I) went out, warmed up, felt great, came back out, everything was gone. … Nobody was man enough to tell me the situation.”

Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt had said during the week that Boldin would be a game-time decision leading up to kickoff, but the wide receiver apparently didn’t get word of that decision. Many had expected Boldin would play against the Bears after re-injuring his ankle last week. He returned to take part in a limited portion of practice on Friday after he was held out the previous two days.
