NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora reports Giants CB Aaron Ross has been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the San Diego Chargers. Ross, who has not practiced this week due to an ongoing hamstring injury, has yet to play this season.
The Giants also list LB Michael Boley (knee) and DT Chris Canty (calf) as questionable. Both took part in a limited portion of practice on Thursday for the second straight day.
“They had a pretty good day; they had a pretty good day, yeah,” Giants coach Tom Coughlin said of Boley and Canty. ”We are putting ‘questionable’ on them, but they did about half and they seemed to come through each day pretty well.”
Coughlin said there will be a change in the starting lineup at safety, where Aaron Rouse will start over C.C. Brown.
Eli Manning (foot), TE Kevin Boss (ankle), WR Mario Manningham (shoulder), WR Sinorice Moss (foot) and RB Ahmad Bradshaw (ankle, foot) are all listed as probable.
