Giants WR Mario Manningham is officially out against the Eagles today.
Manningham told NFL Network’s Bob Papa that he expected to play earlier today, even saying that he was “good to go.” But after he took the field for pregame warmups, Manningham ended up on the list of inactives turned in by the team moments ago.
Manningham did not practice Friday due to a shoulder injury he suffered during practice on Thursday, which left him officially listed as questionable.
There were no other major surprises among the inactives in this game. RB Ahmad Bradshaw (ankle, foot), T Kareem McKenzie (groin) and LB Antonio Pierce (ankle), who were probable for the Giants, are active. Eagles DB Macho Harris (ankle), who was listed as questionable, was deactivated.
