It’s fitting that the day after Halloween several coaches are tricking fantasy owners in regards to their backfields.
Broncos RB Knowshon Moreno (four carries) is losing work to RB Correll Buckhalter (seven carries). Bills RB Marshawn Lynch, who appeared to be inching closer to being more of a featured back in recent weeks, has split 12 carries with RB Fred Jackson.
Even Eagles RB LeSean McCoy, who started in place of an injured RB Brian Westbrook, is losing carries … to FB Leonard Weaver! He’s actually scored 11 fantasy points to McCoy’s one.
Weaver is owned in zero percent of NFL.com leagues!
And let’s now even talk about Texans RB Steve Slaton, who was benched in the first half after losing a fumble. In his place, RB Ryan Moats has seen most of the carries.
