It was a tough day for wide receivers, as Houston’s Andre Johnson, Minnesota’s Bernard Berrian and Indianapolis’ Reggie Wayne all sustained injuries. Johnson and Berrian didn’t return, although Wayne did.

The injury to New York Jets RB Leon Washington is indeed as bad as originally feared. Jets coach Rex Ryan announced in his postgame news conference after Sunday’s 38-0 win over the Raiders that Washington suffered a broken fibula.
