Monster.com’s Director of Fandemonium was in Minnesota on Monday night to see his beloved Vikings take on the Green Bay Packers, which got him to thinking about the NFL’s best rivalries.

Bengals’ Smith making progress from fractured foot

There is the chance that Bengals first-round draft pick OT Andre Smith could be game-ready by Cincinnati’s Oct. 23 game against Chicago. It appears to be more likely, though, that Smith won’t play until the Nov. 8 game against the Baltimore Ravens, following the Bengals’ bye week.

Dolphins, Bills heading in opposite directions

Even after losing starting quarterback Chad Pennington for the season, the stock arrow for the Dolphins is pointing up. Second-year QB Chad Henne showed well in his first NFL start as he led Miami to a 38-10 win over the Buffalo Bills.
