The Eagles are pleased with the progress of RBĀ Brian Westbrook, who left Monday night’s win over the Redskins in the first quarter due to a concussion. A team source said Tuesday Westbrook is doing well.
Eagles coach Andy Reid said Tuesday that Westbrook is undergoing tests for his concussion and won’t be ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Giants. The results of the testing won’t be known for a day or two, but Westbrook has a history of being able to play despite missing practice time.
Reid sounded optimistic, saying “he’s counting on that he’ll be there, but we’ll see how tests go.”
