Add Redskins TE Davis after Cooley injury

According to NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora, Redskins TE Chris Cooley has been lost for at least four weeks after suffering a broken right ankle against the Eagles on Monday night.
This is a huge blow for fantasy owners, as Cooley was owned in 92 percent of NFL.com leagues and a starter in no less than 72 percent this season.
In his absence, TE Fred Davis will become the starter and has immediate value in fantasy circles. Davis showed that he can produce immediately, catching eight passes for 78 yards with one touchdown in the 27-17 loss.
The Redskins have a bye in Week 8, however, so fantasy owners in need of a one-week fix should target Raiders TE Zach Miller (at Chargers), Ravens TE Todd Heap (vs. Broncos) or Broncos TE Tony Scheffler (at Ravens) off the waiver wire.
