Bears DT Harris out vs. Bengals

The Bears won’t have DT Tommie Harris for their pivotal game against the Bengals, a league source told NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora.

Harris, a three-time Pro Bowler, missed practice this week after his troublesome left knee flared up again. Harris had surgery on the knee during the offseason and had been resting on Wednesdays during game weeks. He has experienced trouble with his left knee since 2007, when he first injured it.

Second-year pro Marcus Harrison likely will start for the Bears, who are 3-2 and need a victory in Cincinnati to keep pace with the 6-0 Vikings in the NFC North.
