Chad Ochocinco evidently didn’t learn his lesson the first time.
The NFL fined the Bengals wide receiver $10,000 for wearing a black chinstrap during Sunday’s game against the Texans, a league source confirmed.
It’s the second time that Ochocinco has been cited for a chinstrap violation. The league also fined Ochocinco $5,000 during the preseason after he wore an orange chinstrip during the game.
Ochocinco revealed the second fine on his Twitter page Wednesday night, saying, “Yall won’t believe I got fined 10 grand for my black chinstrap, I’m colorblind doesn’t that count for something!”
NFL rules state that players are only allowed to wear white chinstraps.
