Around the League: A quiet trade deadline


There were a lot of teams with “open for business” signs on their front doors, teams at the bottom of the standings, but only one deal was done Tuesday at the league’s trading deadline. The Chiefs had players who were available, but GM Scott Pioli demands a lot in a trade. The Raiders were calling teams around the league about players on their roster. And Cleveland got calls about Josh Cribbs, but they weren’t going to deal him.
