The knee injury that sidelined Eagles LT Jason Peters during the first quarter of Sunday’s loss to the Raiders likely won’t keep him out of next Monday’s game against the Redskins.
Eagles coach Andy Reid said Monday that Peters sustained a knee contusion and ankle sprain, but he should be able to work through the injuries this week. Reid based his outlook on the results of an MRI exam and that Peters was “walking around halfway decent. We’ll see how he does this week.”
On the other Eagles injuries, Reid said DE Victor Abiamiri (knee sprain) is day to day and LB Omar Gaither (foot sprain) was being evaluated. Reid expects DT Brodrick Bunkley (rib contusion) to be fine.
