WR Johnson inactive for Lions, QB Culpepper will start
Published: October 18th, 2009 | Tags: Calvin Johnson, Daunte Culpepper, Detroit Lions, Matthew Stafford
Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson is inactive against the Packers because of a knee sprain. NFL.com initially reported that Johnson was active for Sunday’s game because of a communications error with the press box in Green Bay. We regret any inconvenience.
Johnson was listed as questionable after sitting out practice all week.
QB Daunte Culpepper will start for the Lions in Week 6. No. 1 overall selection Matthew Stafford is inactive and listed as the third quarterback.
