Saints RB Bell sees another red-zone touch

I think we’re seeing how the Saints backfield is shaping up now that all the components are active.

RB Mike Bell, who scored on a goal-line run earlier in the contest against the Giants, was again in the backfield when the Saints were in the red zone. He scored another touchdown in that series, but the run was taken away due to a penalty.

If you have RB Pierre Thomas, you have to be concerned about Bell’s emerging role as the team’s goal-line back.

Speaking of the Saints, QB Drew Brees (187 yards, three TDs) is proving why you don’t bench your studs even against the toughest of matchups.
