Patriots’ Morris helped off field
Published: October 18th, 2009 | Tags: New England Patriots, Sammy Morris
The Patriots lost RB Sammy Morris to an apparent knee injury on the team’s first drive of the game against the Titans. Morris’ leg bent awkwardly as he was tackled by several defenders after a reception, and he walked gingerly off the field with the aid of two team trainers. Laurence Maroney came in to replace Morris.
The Patriots are already without a number of starters against the Titans, as LT Matt Light, LB Adalius Thomas and S James Sanders.
