Jets’ Jenkins hurt against Bills

The centerpiece of the New York Jets defense, NT Kris Jenkins, left Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills with an apparent leg injury. Jenkins was injured when he was caught up in a wash of players after a running play late in the second quarter, and several players landed on his legs.
Jenkins was in obvious pain as he was down on the field, but was able to limp off on his own. After some time on the sidelines, Jenkins walked on his own with team personnel along the sidelines to the locker room, although he was walking tentatively. While he appeared to be favoring his left leg, there’s been no word yet from the Jets or the pressbox at Giants Stadium.
