Driver sets Packers receptions record

Moments ago, Packers QB Aaron Rodgers connected with WR Donald Driver on a 6-yard reception. The reception was the 596th career reception for Driver, setting the Packers’ all-time record.

Driver had been tied with Sterling Sharpe atop the Packers’ list.

Driver, a seventh-round pick in 1999, has spent all 11 of his seasons with the Packers. He has recorded 50 or more receptions each of the last seven seasons, including six 1,000-yard seasons.
