Campbell benched by Redskins; Portis injured

When the Redskins opened the second half Sunday against the Chiefs, it was veteran QB Todd Collins under center instead of starter Jason Campbell.
In an effort to spark the Redskins’ struggling offense, coach Jim Zorn has apparently benched Campbell. The move worked, at least for one play, as Collins completed his first attempt for 42 yards to Santana Moss.
Campbell completed 9-of-16 passes for 89 yards and an interception in the first half.
Redskins RB Clinton Portis was also missing to begin the second half, although he did re-enter the game.
