First it was Saints RB Mike Bell who was seeing the red-zone touches this afternoon. When Bell failed to punch it in on a late series in the second quarter, the team went to Pierre Thomas (who also failed to score).

Now, in what looks like their final series of the half, the Saints gave it to Reggie Bush in the red zone. He scored on a 7-yard run.

Who sees the next red-zone look is anyone’s guess, but it sure looks like the Saints are using a committee.

In Washington, Redskins RB Clinton Portis injured his ankle and was out for the team’s first series of the second half, although he did return.
