Bills’ Edwards out with concussion

Buffalo Bills QB Trent Edwards suffered a concussion in Sunday’s game¬†against the New York Jets and will not return.

Edwards suffered the injury during the second quarter and was replaced by Ryan Fitzpatrick. Edwards, who was 5-of-5 passing for 43 yards before leaving, was injured on a play in which he was bent backward in a scrum of players on a sack. He was able to walk to sideline with the help of team trainers.
