Redskins sign Pakulak back to active roster

The Washington Redskins announced Saturday that they have signed P Glenn Pakulak to the 53-man roster from their practice squad. To make room on the active roster, DE Renaldo Wynn was released.

The move is likely an indication P Hunter Smith, who is questionable on the injury report due to an injured right groin that kept him out last week, isn’t ready to play. Smith did not practice this week.

Pakulak, who was released on Monday and signed to the practice squad, filled in for Smith last week against Carolina. He punted five times for a 42.4-yard average and a 35.6-yard net average.
