Saints RB Pierre Thomas (hamstring), who took part in a limited portion of practices this week, is officially listed as probable for Sunday’s showdown against the New York Giants. Thomas missed the first two games of the season, but had shown no signs of weakness during his impressive return the last two games.
New Orleans’ backfield figures to get a boost Sunday with the return of RB Mike Bell (knee), who has missed the last two games. Bell, the team’s main option the first two weeks of the season, is listed as probable after being a full participant in practice all week.
