Chargers release SS Hart

The Chargers have released strong safety Clinton Hart, a league source told NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora.

Hart started in three of the Chargers’ four games this season, registering 16 total tackles. In six seasons in San Diego, Hart has 10 interceptions, two of which were returned for touchdowns.
