Tuesday update: Bucs sign WR Figurs

Teams are working out free agents Tuesday as they look to address needs created by injuries or lack of production. I’ll keep you up to date here with a running list of the latest updates from around the league as I hear them:

  • The Buccaneers signed free-agent WR/KR Yamon Figurs, according to a league source. Figurs played in three games with the Lions this season before he was cut Sept. 30. The Bucs were scheduled to work out a number of receivers today, including former Giant David Tyree, ex-Jaguar Matt Jones, Jordan Kent and Chris Davis.. Tyree instead signed with the Ravens.
  • Free-agent LT Levi Jones worked out for the Lions today, according to a league source. Jones played in 94 games, starting 89, over seven seasons with the Bengals, who released him during the offseason.
