Already down to their fourth left tackle of the season, the Seahawks signed Damion McIntosh for veteran help.
Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
Walter Jones, Sean Locklear and Brandon Frye all have injuries, leaving second-year pro Kyle Williams as the only left tackle on Seattle’s roster. Williams was signed off the practice squad last week and had to play Sunday after Frye was injured during a 41-0 rout of the Jaguars.
Frye was placed on season-ending injured reserve, opening a spot for McIntosh.
McIntosh, a 10th-year pro, spent the previous two seasons with the Chiefs and missed only one game, but he was released last month. He also has played for the Dolphins and Chargers, and he has made 111 starts in 115 career games.
