Don’t rush to add Cowboys WR Austin

Cowboys WR Miles Austin had the game of his life in an overtime win against the Chiefs, posting 10 catches for a team-record 250 yards with two touchdowns.

But this doesn’t make him a must-add player off the waiver wire.

First off, the Cowboys have a bye in Week 6. That means Austin isn’t going to help you right away. What’s more, Roy Williams should be back when Dallas returns to action in Week 7.

That means Austin will settle back into a reserve role sooner rather than later.

He’s still worth a look after his monster performance, but don’t expect Austin to become a fantasy superstar anytime soon.
