Patriots agree in principle with LB Seau

The Patriots and Junior Seau have agreed on the parameters of a deal, and all that would be required is for the team to execute the contract and have the veteran linebacker join the team.

Seau worked out for the Patriots this week but was told that if he signed immediately, he would be inactive.

Seau was able to re-arrange his commitments to cable channel Versus and his reality show, “Sports Jobs with Junior Seau,” and could join the Patriots next week. He played four games for the team last season, his third in New England.
