Seau, Patriots haven’t talked since last week

Free-agent LB Junior Seau hasn’t been contacted by the Patriots since taking a physical for the team last week, a league source told NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora.
Seau has interest in playing again for coach Bill Belichick, and though he has other commitments, including with cable network Versus, the 19-year NFL veteran could rework that in order to play. However, there has been no contact between the sides since last week, according to the source, and no contract negotiations.
Should the Patriots initiate those talks, it’s conceivable that Seau could be in Boston as soon as Wednesday.
Seau said last week that he was interested in playing again and told reporters, “Tell Belichick to call me.” Seau came out of retirement last season to play in four games for the Patriots, who also had the linebacker in 2006 and 2007.
