Redskins’ Portis active vs. Bucs

NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora reports that Redskins RB Clinton Portis will be active vs. the Buccaneers today. Portis had been listed as questionable with a calf injury.

The Buccaneers listed RB Derrick Ward and C Jeff Faine as inactive today. As expected, Byron Leftwich is the No. 3 QB for the Bucs, with rookie Josh Freeman backing up new starter Josh Johnson.
