Lewis, Dawson inactive for Browns

The Browns will be without RB Jamal Lewis in today’s game against the Bengals. Lewis, who has been battling a hamstring injury and was listed as doubtful for today’s game, was listed as one of the team’s inactive players.

The Browns are dangerously thin in the backfield after placing rookie RB James Davis on season-ending injured reserve Saturday, a move that leaves Jerome Harrison as the only experienced back on the roster. The Browns also signed rookie RB Chris Jennings to the active roster from the practice squad.
