What happened to Cedric Benson this week?

I wish I knew. You would think Bengals offensive coordinator Bob Bratkowski would have wanted to use Benson a ton against a Browns run defense that’s ranked near the bottom of the league.

Instead, the Bengals have run the ball 12 times. Benson has nine of those attempts for a mere 31 yards with no touchdowns. I guess it goes to show you that as good as a matchup can look on paper, there are no guarantees that it will work out.

Speaking of running backs who’ve done nothing today, how about Willis McGahee? He’s rushed for seven yards on three carries. His teammate, Ray Rice, has 95 yards on seven carries.
