Colts’ defense could be short-handed vs. Seahawks

Three Colts defensive starters are questionable to play this weekend against the Seahawks.

LB Gary Brackett could miss his second consecutive game with a knee injury. DE Dwight Freeney (quadricep) said Thursday that he remains hopeful that he will be able to play through a strained quadriceps, but that appears to unlikely. CB Kelvin Hayden (hamstring) and DT Keyunta Dawson (foot) also are listed as questionable.

For the Seahawks, LB Leroy Hill will miss his third consecutive game with a groin injury, and OT Walter Jones isn’t quite ready to return after having his second knee surgery in nine months. Coach Jim Mora also said he doesn’t expect QB Matt Hasselbeck to play through a broken rib. Hasselbeck is officially listed as questionable.
