Texans RB Steve Slaton‘s lack of production has led to a lot of rumbling coming out of Houston, including remarks from coach Gary Kubiak earlier in the week that alluded to the team’s interest in then-free-agent RB Cedric Benson over the summer. Now Kubiak is suggesting that Slaton, who has deferred most goal-line and short-yardage situations to Chris Brown, could lose more carries to fifth-year veteran Ryan Moats.
