Cowboys RB Felix Jones sprained a ligament in his left knee against the Panthers on Monday night, meaning that there could be a big hole in the Cowboys backfield. That also means that you need to add Tashard Choice to your fantasy backfield right now.

You were told to add Choice last week, but you just would not listen, would you? Choice is still available in 65 percent of NFL.com fantasy leagues right now.

Jones’ status will be evaluated during the week, but figure that the Cowboys will take a cautious approach, like they did with starter Marion Barber who sat out Monday’s game with a strained left thigh. And remember, Jones missed 10 games last year and is closing in on Reggie Bush-type levels of frustration where his tantalizing talent is offset by his vulnerability to injuries.

Barber is going to be your starter — despite the tough matchup against Denver — if he is active. But Choice should at least be on your bench as a handcuff going forward in case Barber’s injury lingers or he gets hurt again.
