Chiefs sign former Cardinals TE Pope

The Chiefs signed former Cardinals TE Leonard Pope to a one-year contract, a source with knowledge of the deal confirmed.
The move reunites Pope, a gifted but oft-injured player, with coach Todd Haley, who served as Arizona’s offensive coordinator from 2007 to 2008. Pope, mainly a receiving option, was released by the Cardinals before the season.
