Colts waiting on exam results for Freeney

For anyone waiting for an update on the Dwight Freeney injury front, the wait will have to continue at least a little longer. Freeney told reporters following Sunday night’s win over the Cardinals he injured his right quadriceps and would have an MRI exam today. Colts coach Jim Caldwell confirmed Freeney had the exam this morning, but said he wouldn’t know any results until later in the day — and, until then, wanted to reserve comments on Freeney’s injury and his status for Sunday’s game against the Seahawks.

Freeney was credited with two tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble in the win. We’ll pass along the latest on his injury when we hear it.
