Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good.

Brett Favre tossed what amounted to a short Hail Mary pass to Greg Lewis, who hauled it in and kept both feet in bounds to score a game-winning touchdown against the 49ers.

The score was good for 32 yards, and more importantly for fantasy owners, seven points. For Favre, it turned a good stat line into a great one.

In Buffalo, Lynell Hamilton scored on a 1-yard run to put the Saints ahead of the Bills. Hamilton and Reggie Bush have seen the backfield work, while Pierre Thomas has been on the sidelines.

Thomas is active, but his knee must still not be 100 percent. He’s looking like the biggest bust in fantasy football to this point.
