Haynesworth carted off with hip injury

The situation in Detroit doesn’t look good for DT Albert Haynesworth or the Washington Redskins. Haynesworth was carted off the field a few moments ago with what the team said is a hip injury. He is questionable to return.

Haynesworth was injured midway through the second quarter after sacking Lions QB Matthew Stafford for a 6-yard loss. Haynesworth had to be helped to his feet, and was unable to put any weight on his right leg. He was then carted off the field, wearing a towel over his head as he was taken toward the locker room.
