Redskins RB Clinton Portis is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Lions because of an ankle injury. Portis was limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday, but he sat out today’s session.

If Portis does play, he will face a Detroit defense that could be without four starters. DE Cliff Avril (hamstring), CB Eric King (shoulder) and LB Ernie Sims (shoulder) are all listed as doubtful, and CB Phillip Buchanon (neck) is questionable.
