Buccaneers coach Raheem Morris announced that RB Derrick Ward will start Sunday against the Giants, his former team, while Cadillac Williams (knee) and Earnest Graham (hamstring) nurse injuries.
Williams and Graham both are listed as questionable on the team’s injury report.
Bucs WR Antonio Bryant also is listed as questionable, one week after being held out of a loss to the Bills. Bryant has been having problems with his surgically repaired left knee.
The Giants have injury concerns of their own, mostly on defense. DE Chris Canty (calf) and CB Aaron Ross (hamstring) both will miss another game, and CB Kevin Dockery (hamstring) and DE Justin Tuck (shoulder) are listed as questionable to play against the Bucs.
Starting SS Kenny Phillips is out after being placed on season-ending injured reserve. WR Domenik Hixon (knee), who missed last week’s game, is questionable, and Mario Manningham (shoulder) is probable.
