Under the microscope, Delhomme does his part

If there was one moral victory in the Panthers’ 28-20 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, it was the improved play of quarterback Jake Delhomme, who had thrown nine interceptions in his last two games, dating back to last season’s playoff loss to the Cardinals.
Delhomme completed 25 of 41 for 308 yards, one touchdown and an interception and was noticeably more effective in running the offense.
The Charlotte Observer examines Delhomme’s effort.
“I don’t think there’s any doubt,” said Delhomme. “I’m not going to sit here and lie to you. Last week I couldn’t throw it in the ocean. This week it felt really good to be out there on the field. That’s a good thing.”
