The BillsĀ are signing OT Jamon Meredith from the Packers practice squad, according to a league source to help strengthen their injured offensive line.
The Bills lost starting RT Brad Butler for the season and are rebuilding with a young offensive line which features two rookie starters in LG Andy Levitre and RG Eric Wood.
Meredith is a 2009 fifth-round pick out of South Carolina.
The Packers, who have allowed the most sacks in the NFL, are also a team that some execs believe are thin at tackle, making the move even more interesting. The Packers are uncertain of the status this week of starting LT Chad Clifton, who suffered a sprained ankle in Week 2.
