Giants’ Moss could see increased role vs. Cowboys

The Giants might not replace the loss of injured rookie WR Hakeem Nicks with new personnel tonight at Dallas. Instead, they might just increase the role of reserve WR Sinorice Moss. Although QB Eli Manning spread the ball around to seven receivers in New York’s victory over Washington in the season opener, Moss wasn’t one of them.
Also, CB Terrell Thomas will start at cornerback for the Giants in place of injured starter Aaron Ross. The Giants also get back OLB Michael Boley, who served a one-game suspension last week for a misdemeanor battery charge in 2008. Boley might not start, but he is expected to play a lot. He is a versatile coverage linebacker who is expected to have a sizeable role covering Cowboys TEs Mark Witten and Martellus Bennett.
