Falcons QB Ryan continues to shine

Falcons QB Matt Ryan, a preseason breakout candidate on NFL.com, has thrown three touchdown passes in the first half against the Panthers. With two scores last week, Ryan now has five touchdown strikes in the season’s first six quarters.

He had 16 scores all of his rookie campaign.

Ryan is well on his way to posting 30-plus scores this season. I can’t wait to see him face off against Patriots QB Tom Brady next week.

With Ryan’s success, though, has come failure for Falcons RB Michael Turner.

He didn’t do much in last week’s win over the Dolphins. Now he’s being held in check (10 carries, 32 yards) once again.
