Dolphins starting LB Akin Ayodele is listed as questionable for Monday night’s matchup with the Colts. Ayodele was a full participant in Thursday and Friday practices, but he was held out today with what the team described as a back injury.
Ayodele had five tackles against the Falcons in Week 1. If Ayodele is unable to go against the Colts, Reggie Torbor likely would take his place alongside Channing Crowder in the middle of Miami’s 3-4 alignment.
Indianapolis’ injury report didn’t include any big surprises. WR Anthony Gonzalez (knee) and S Bob Sanders (ankle) are out, as is TE Tom Santi (ankle).
Charlie Johnson, who beat out second-year pro Tony Ugoh in the preseason for the starting left tackle job, is listed as questionable with a back injury. Ugoh, who would start in Johnson’s place, was held out of practice, along with DB Marlin Jackson, in order to give the players some rest before Monday’s game.
