Bo Scaife, the Titans’ leading receiver last season, will be sidelined in Week 2, the result of a knee injury suffered on what the tight end described as a “cheap shot” from Steelers LB Jerome Harrison in Week 1. Scaife caught five passes for 48 yards in that game.
Rookie TE Jared Cook, who could take on a larger role in Scaife’s absence, is questionable with an ankle injury. Titans LB David Thornton (knee) also is listed as questionable.
For the Texans, WR Kevin Walter (hamstring) is questionable after missing Week 1, but he did return to practice on Thursday and Friday. Safety Eugene Wilson (knee) is probable after missing last week’s game.
