The Chiefs moved quickly on Bobby Wade, signing the veteran receiver to a one-year deal on Tuesday, according to Wade’s agent, Jerome Stanley.
Wade, who was released by the Vikings last week, had multiple offers, according to his agent. Wade was released by the Vikings even after taking a pay cut.
Wade likely signed with the Chiefs because he probably will be in the top three of the receivers rotation, which possibly might not have been the case elsewhere. The Chiefs started WRs Dwayne Bowe and Mark Bradley Sunday against the Ravens, with Bobby Engram as the third receiver.
