Giants without CBs Ross, Dockery vs. Redskins

Giants CBs Aaron Ross and Kevin Dockery are inactive today against the Redskins, moving Terrell Thomas into the starting lineup. That likely results in rookie Bruce Johnson playing nickel back for the Giants.
Dockery, who was filling in for Ross, also is slowed by a hamstring injury. Dockery missed practice time this week, although Giants coach Tom Coughlin was holding out hope that he would be able to play.
In addition to Ross and Dockery, the Giants also listed the following players as inactive: WR Ramses Barden, OTs Adam Coates, Tutan Reyes and Guy Whimper, DT Leger Douzable and LB Clint Sintim.
The Redskins inactives: RB Marcus Mason, CB Kevin Barnes, C Edwin Williams, LB Robert Henson, OTs Chad Rinehart, OL D’Anthony Batiste, DT Anthony Montgomery and DE Renaldo Wynn.
